About

I have over 30 years of experiencer as a professional photographer and videographer. I am passionate about teaching photography classes and workshops. My photography background includes:

• Photography instructor for summer classes at Vassar College in New York. • Photography workshop leader for two photo workshops twice a year overseas. Past locations have been in China, Italy, France, and Ireland. • Award-winning photographer with nature and landscape photos. • Photography critique for major camera clubs in the Sacramento region. •A photography curator at Viewpoint Photographic Art Center in Sacramento, CA. •Exhitor in galleries in California and New York. • Past President and Vice President of Nevada County Camera Club. You can find me at www.photographybydavidwong.com and on Instagram. Awards include Photograph of the Year twice for Nevada County CC and 1st place ribbons in various exhibits and fairs. Lastly, I am a friendly and easy-going teacher.

One of my greatest joys is bringing students to their WOW moments as they learn how to make their photographs sing and come to life, whether they are beginners or advanced photographers. I love sharing my knowledge and excitement of all types of photography. My favorite types of genres are landscape, wildlife, sports and action, travel, and canine photography. Teaching photographers not only the skills of photography but also the art of making photographs is a true pleasure. Seeing prints on the wall and showing students how I print photos up to ten feet is another joy.

David was Friendly, worked well with us and took amazing photos of our 50th Anniversary party . Our guests really enjoyed him too! He started early and stayed later. His price was unbelievably fair. I would highly recommend him!
