when looking for a professional hairstylist my advice to you is to make sure you find someone who is very knowledgeable about their craft. For example, if your someone that's looking to get extensions. I would say find a stylist that can tell you everything about extensions and weaving. Things like how long the extensions should be in. How can you take care of the extensions at home? When should you have the extensions tighten or removed?

What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?

All pros are busy people. So be prepared with the question you would like to ask them. Know what you want. Have pictures. Find out what you like about the pictures. Maybe one picture has the style you want, and another picture has the color you want.
