About
I believe my service stands out because I've been doing it for so long, and I love what I do! I have been working in Hollywood for over 30 years! And I have learned my skills from the best. I started with natural light shooting, and then I started learning studio lighting. So I know what I know from, skill, experience, and professionalism.
I feel very proud to say that I represent the camera department. I'm not an actor, but I have worked with some of the best in the business. That also goes for directors and producers too! I love being asked by the people who hire me, about how this shot can be made. Or how can we shoot this with this lighting? I love to collaborate with people.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to getting to know the customer first. I always ask them what are they looking for in their photo shoot. How do they see themselves in these photos? What questions do they have for me? I ask them if they have any samples of what they are looking for? I also like to know how the customer is, and how they are to work with?
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been taking pictures since I was 15 years old. I learned how to develop my first roll of black & white 35mm film at Hoover High School in Fresno, California when I was 17.
I came to Hollywood, California in 1986, when I was 22 years old. I started shooting Hollywood parties, premieres, and award shows when I first got here. I also have shot a lot of actor and modeling headshots during that whole time. Headshots are standard issue when you work in this business.
I have also learned from looking at other artists works in books or the internet. Many Painters, Sculptors, and other Photographers have books or their stuff online to look at for ideas.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I charge according to the size and complexity of the job.
But most headshots start at $450.00.
How did you get started in this business?
I saw a photographer on a TV show called "Lou Grant". when I was 14 years old and I thought that looks like fun!
So then the journey to Hollywood happened because I really love watching TV shows and Movies! But even better, I like learning how they are made. So I moved to Hollywood! It's here where I learned about lighting and lenses. And how the business of Hollywood works.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with customers who were just starting in the entertainment business to old Hollywood legends. (Heath Ledger, Dennis Hopper and John O'Hurley from the hit TV show SEINFELD). I also work with people who have nothing to do with show business and still need my camera work.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
With as much as I know and the experiences that I have had. I like helping people who are just starting out. Young and new film crews who are making their first movie. I also like working with veteran actors (Bette Davis, Charlton Heston or Leslie Neilson) who have been around the business for a long time. There is always something to learn from them.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Look at their work, ask as many questions as you like. You should feel totally comfortable with whomever you hire.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Make a list of questions. Look them up online and check their work, profile, and background.
