I am Herb Deitz and I have about 5+ years of work in the digital photography area. I own a Nikon 7100 as well as several lenses and tripod. I am semi-retired from my business in Silicon Valley. I also did film work back in the 70's and 80's.

I have worked with Herb while Editor of the monthly Sons in Retirement newsletter and have been impressed by the many candid photos of our members. In a very serious group he has managed to find and photograph older men (average age is 80) smiling and enjoying themselves, and we now include these candid shots in a monthly newsletter section called Friends Being Friends at SIR Luncheons.
