My journey into the world of photography began unexpectedly, sparked by a desire to impress a special someone—my then-girlfriend, now my wife. She was immersed in film production studies at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, while I was transitioning from a college football career at San Jose State to life after sports. With newfound free time and a desire to impress a pretty girl, I embarked on a self-taught journey through "YouTube University," mastering the complexities of digital cameras and the artistry of Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop. Little did I know, that this quest would not only win me the heart of my future wife but also ignite a passion for capturing life's fleeting moments through photography.

This new love affair, paralleling the deepening of my relationship, led me to trade the adrenaline of competing in sports for the energy and depth of photographing them. That decision has enriched my life in more ways than I could have imagined. Married since 2011, my wife and I now have three young boys and a dog. Reflecting on our journey, I often revisit our wedding photos. They're not just images; they're time capsules that transport me back to the scent of my wife's perfume, the R&B songs that filled the air, and the flutter of excitement in my heart. It's this profound ability of photographs to evoke such vivid memories that drives my passion.
