Chris is a phenomenal photographer who made our proposal very special. He captured the essence of our engagement and the emotions we each felt. I whole heartedly recommend him for your special occasion or for any portraits that you need. His energy is uplifting and positive throughout the entire experience!

If there were 6 stars, I’d give them. I hired Chris to do a surprise engagement shoot. Working with Chris felt more like partnering with a close friend. He helped collaborate on the plan, was flexible when I threw last minute changes at him left and right, and even showed up the day before to the site to make sure everything would be perfect. After the surprise he helped us with poses and even had found a close-by spot with an even better view than the one I had found. This pics came out incredible and I’ll treasure them forever.

    Frequently asked questions

We always speak prior to any photo session to ensure that your expectations and requirements are fully understood and that we discuss both the location of the shoot and timing so that we maximize lighting.

I train daily and have built a growing business through client referrals.

Yes, I have several package options and I'm always flexible on the number of people in the pictures. For example, I have a champagne/flower arrangement package that can be added to a base session for a surprise engagement. It's always a hit..!
I discovered my passion for photography after winning a NatGeo photo contest in Iceland. Since then, I can't get enough of taking creative and memorable photos plus I love working with people to capture special moments that can't be recreated.
The majority of my business comes from referrals and repeat business. Clients range from individuals seeking social media or LinkedIn profile updates to large families interested in capturing an event such as a birthday or retirement party. I also have a long history with international clients that come to San Francisco for vacation. They love to capture special moments with the Golden Gate Bridge or the city in the background.
A young man from Austria contacted me over Facebook to discuss how he wanted to surprise his girlfriend with an engagement while they were visiting San Francisco. For nearly three months, we planned very step of the process. The proposal went exactly as planned but the reason this was so special is that his girlfriend had a seven year-old son that was also in attendance. I was able to capture the excitement and emotions of the girlfriend but better yet was the pure joy that came from the son. The three of them danced, laughed, and cried on the beach. It was heartwarming and I was honored to be included. We captured some amazing and memorable photos!
    1. Listen to what clients say about the photographer. 2. Read the Google reviews. 3. Search for feedback on social media. 4. Ask questions about their experience in specific locations. 5. Ask about their level of guidance in posing, lighting, and venues. 6. Realize that a majority of our time is spent in prep and post-processing.
It depends on the type of event. I've found that a wedding requires the most up-front planning and preparation. Consider using a platform like Pinterest to share your ideas for the photos (e.g., clothing, posing, romantic, fun, etc..). Also, ask about the delivery of photos once the session is complete. Are the photos available electronically, sharable, printable, and downloadable? Be sure to look at their past work to understand if their style aligns with your needs.
