Moving back to the DFW area it has been difficult trying to find a good salon to color my hair. After searching through reviews on yelp, I texted Lina and set up my appointment.

I have very dark hair so I never expect any miracles when it comes to lightening it. Fortunately, I was SUPER satisfied with the outcome and couldnt be happier!

I would suggest booking your appointment if you need personalized, professional attention. Ive gone to 4 different colorist throughout the past 3 years (from moving around) and I felt like I could trust her before she even began.

Believe in your selfie. I love this little saying that Lina has posted in her salon. Located in a nice suite with other hair stylists, Linas place was very kempt inside with a nice window to steal some glances on the current weather outside. I really liked that there was a TV for clients to do a hulu marathon while getting pampered.

I believe I found my stylist in Texas. It was such a huge chore to find the right person, but here we are...Lina to the rescue. One of Linas strengths is that she listens. Sounds basic right? Not as easy as you think. My last stylist made me a super light blonde even though I requested to go darker. Lina got my ombre balayage right the first time. She was able to work with me while incorporating her personal creativity. I explained how I wanted to go from my light blonde to a darker color. She waved her magic wand, and the end product was beautiful. There were plenty of compliments heading my way for the next few days.

Talking to Lina is like talking to one of your girlfriends. She is very down to earth and conversant. You can touch on about any topic and chat away. FYI, she also does cuts and extensions. I plan to get my hair colored and haircuts with her from now on. Her instagram is elenem_hair if youre an IG person and want to check out more of her work. It was super easy to book an appointment. I simply texted her and was able to schedule something that accommodated my schedule.

Got my bangs cut by Lina, and they came out better than I expected . They looked a bit awkward at first but once I went home and styled them, I was completely in love. I will say that parking was a bit difficult to find , but the parking garage right behind the salon was a big help

Heres the deal- Is she expensive-yes.

Is she worth every single penny ? Absolutely yes.

Went to Lina for a cut and color. She didnt just do my hair. She asked questions about my hair coloring history and my hair type. She asked about the type of upkeep I wanted. She actually cared which is tough to find in a hair stylist.

When I didnt know between sun kissed or Ashy she showed me photos to make sure I left happy and confident in my new do.

Dont go there if youre expecting to pay less- go there if you really want someone whos a craft in her field.

Lina was very quick and funny and asked a lot of questions, which is always a good thing with a hairstylist. I got exactly what I wanted and no damage. My natural hair was dark brown and now I am a blonde!! I love it!
