I've been a photographer for 7 years and I'm always working to achieve the perfect photo. To complete the vision and desire of each client and to satisfy my attention to detail and artistry. Two of my favorite areas of photography are editorial fashion and dance action events, as well as others.

Mark was definitely the perfect choice. He took the time to explain the photoshoot process thoroughly without hesitation. Mark's patience and thoughtfulness are impeccable. Mark wear your 5 Stars proudly. Thank you for everything. Your the best!
Mark has given me great customer service in the past 16 years. He’s provided ballroom dance competition photos with good composition, coloring, and promptness. His advantage is in knowing what the dancer’s next move will likely be and hitting the shot perfectly.
He did an amazing job doing our family event! The videos and photos came out so perfect.
I needed some updated headshots for work and was recommended to Mark Mendez Photography by a close friend of mine. I must say I couldn’t be happier! He was very professional and fun to work with and my pictures came out beautiful. Whatever kind of photos you are looking for, he’s your guy!
Contact the client. Ask questions about the event or shoot. Get as much info as possible. Then suggest a method to proceed with the shoot, offering suggestions for location, date, style, look, feel and everything needed to have a great shoot.
Education - I have taken photography courses in college. I have been instructed/Supervised many people over the years in performances and photo/video shoots. I feel I can express my message and execute what needs to be done.
Too many to list here. There are so many variables. Location, hours, how many looks, MUA needed, wardrobe, shooting time, editing , etc
My father was a photographer. I felt like photography was something I wanted to follow from him. Once I started taking classes in college and seeing the printed image I was hooked. I've enjoyed capturing images all sorts of images.
I have worked with young actors/artists to older corporate business people. I have worked with fashion models to clothing brands. I have enjoyed all the clients I have met.
One of my recent favorite events was shooting LA Fashion Week. I have shot the runway at Fashion week for several years now, but last season the producers of The largest show in Los Angeles invited me to setup a private photoshoot area and capture images of all the models. I felt very inspired to shoot so many designers and models.
Shop around and ask lots of question. Don't settle for the least expensive photographer but you don't necessarily have to pay for the most expensive photographer either. Find a photographer that feels like a good fit for what you want.
There are many considerations for different kinds of shoots. Some key factors would be - location, lighting, time of day, wardrobe, how many looks, how many people, etc. These details are a factor in the time and pricing of the shoot.
