About

We were one of the first companies in Colorado to offer photography and video together as a package deal and have been doing so now for over 20 years! While we can be booked for either service alone, having a team that works together on a regular basis captures the perfect story of your big day! Weddings and events are our specialty.

We get to work with couples on one of the happiest days of their lives and who wouldn't want to create memorable art for couples that captures the moment for years to come!

I started out assisting my professional photographer mother as a teen, worked with numerous photographers and went to The Art Institute of Colorado before starting my own company. As of 2021 we've been photographing weddings for 22 years and on an average we cover 20-30 events yearly!

    Frequently asked questions

Customers who've looked over our website and are familiar with our work and style will contact us to chat more about their needs. We'll go over what they want to have captured at their event, types of photography they like, and things that are most important to them to have photographed. If we click then we do a contract and a deposit to reserve their date. We're available for addtional meetings leading up to the event if needed. On the day of their event we arrive early to set-up gear so that we're ready to start at our contracted start time. And we work through out the entire event with only a brief break to eat should the contract be over 6 hours.  After the event comes the editing with our typical turn around time being 4-6 weeks. Photos and video are released as soon as editing has been completed and payment made in full.

I hold a degree in photography from The Art Institute of Colorado and have done many continuing education workshops to keep up on the latest trends and techniques.

Wedding photographers are hard to choose because there is no set of rules on what to charge or how much trainning a photographer should have. Typically, you should look at the photographer's work and omit the ones that you don't like right away.  A true professional will be able to show you mutilple full weddings with images taken throughout the day, not just the best 2 or 3 photos from one event. They should have examples taken in multiple lighting and weather conditions to show their versatility. I would also be very cautious using anyone that says they are only a natural light photographer as this just means they haven't had any training and can not use a basic flash to get good photos. The next thing would be to meet with the photographer either online in a zoom meeting or in person to make sure you connect personality wise. You spend a great deal of time with your photographer and having a connection is the best way to get fabulous photos!

The best way to book a photographer or videographer for an event is to have your venue and timeline sort of already figured out, this way you can sit down with the professional and go over all the special things you'd like photographed and work out the logistics.

If you have special shots in mind; for instance like a shot taken at night with low lighting available ask to see some photos in thephotographers portfolio that are similiar to make sure that they can do what you are asking. Ask them how they deal with potenial problems like schedule changes, malfunctioning cameras, etc. A pro should have an easier answer to all these questions.
