My name is Monico and I'm a photographer in Arvada Colorado. My 36 years shooting experience with various jobs has expanded my knowledge and skills with a wide spectrum to meet many needs. Most importantly I listen to my clients and trying to understand their needs to work towards a common goal, this way I don't underestimate or over budget the assignment. I love bringing out the beauty in people by helping them pose or catch their natural movement, making someone's product or service appealing so it looks its absolute best and carrying my camera on vacation and family events. Honestly, I really do love what I do.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like putting my client at ease to know that I am there to help them. I try to get to know my clients instead of just pointing the camera at them. I listen, direct, suggest and guide them thru the shoot. The best compliment I usually get is that I made it easy and fun.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attended and graduated from a vocational school for photography when I started. Following with workshops, seminars and of course the best kind . . . 35 years of on the job training.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I have standard pricing for most of my services, but I also understand that everyone doesn't want the same thing, so . . . . I try not to overprice something for someone that wants very little or underprice for something when someone wants more.
My rates for products or services start as little as $99 for a Model for Fun photo shoot, $125 for a headshot to $999 for a company profile including video.
Pricing is generally not negotiable, but rates and packages are! I can personally build a package that will suit your budget.
How did you get started in this business?
I fell in love with photography as a young high school student. I ran around with a Sears sucker camera taking pictures of everything. I worked as a portrait photographer for a few months and knew it was what I really wanted to do for the rest of my life.
