How did you get started in this business?
I was 16 and was on my to graduate early, the high school offered me college courses so I chose beauty school. Why not I was already coloring my hair, I might as well find out how it all works! I was able to receive my license at 18 and every since I've been hooked in the industry. It's very exciting and it changes a lot! I love that!!
What types of customers have you worked with?
I worked with all kinds of clients. Some are entrepreneurs, some in the military, others are homemakers.
With that being said I have serviced men, women, children, seniors, those with disabilities, people preparing for weddings, deployment, large social events, funerals, individuals facing and conquering cancer and even some of our local government officials. A wide variety of clientele keeps the day exciting!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I was recently given the opportunity to present at a hairshow in Denver. It was an amazing expeirence to be able to educate and motivate other professionals to love their skill set and their enviroments again. Truly an expeirence!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Don't over think it, ask all your questions they should be able to answer them in a way that gives you better insight for what your wanting your end result to be.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
I would say find a picture or two to reference from. Most stylist are visual. Ask every question that comes to mind, that's how I learn who you are and what your needs are.
