I do all kinds of photography: landscape, portraits, weddings, seniors, everything! I also teach photography at Colorado Christian University.

I especially enjoy making clients happy! Photos from defining life moments are very special, and I enjoy capturing people's personalities and emotions.

Steve is extraordinarily kind, affable, and so incredibly talented. His photographs are not only beautiful, but they are infused with life. One of my favorite photos that Steve has taken is of my children: one is pretending to be a tiger in the grass while the other is laughing. He is able to capture these moments so beautifully.

Steve did a wonderful job of catching the big and small moments at my daughters wedding! He spent time with her prior to the wedding to be sure he had a sense of her hopes for the photographs and what they might capture. He was positive, flexible, good-natured, professional, and helpful. Our family photos turned out beautiful! Steve is great to work with! My two boys, 6 years old & 4 years old at the time, had so much fun. Steve captured their smiles & personalities. I also love his ability to capture natural light. Our shoot was all outdoors & one of our favorite pictures what caught right as the sun was going down.

Frequently asked questions

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I like to get to know the customer by having coffee and asking a few questions. That way I get to know their personality without the stress of the actual shoot. I can also make some recommendations about clothing, etc. I like to know if they've seen a type of photo that they're wanting, an example of what they like.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I'm mostly self-taught, but I am also an instructor in photography at Colorado Christian University. In addition, I have given photography lectures at REI.
