Planning a wedding is full of many major decisions (as Im sure you know if youre reading this review) and one of the biggest that my wife and I had to consider was the photographer. Transportation, food, alcohol, flowers, decorations, etc. are all things that you cant take with you after the big day - but the photos are a different story all together. So keeping that in mind, we did a TON of research on photographers. We decided on Jared for a few reasons and it was literally the best vendor decision we made throughout the entire process.

From our first consultation meeting we could not only immediately sense Jareds desire for personal connection with his clients but his professionalism was off the charts. It was one of the biggest reasons we choose Jared. While every photographer we met with was looking to be friendly and capture what we were looking for, Jared came with the professionalism and detail that gave us the confidence right from the beginning that we wouldnt be disappointed in the final products he was going to produce.

We went with the package that included all day coverage with two photographers and an engagement session. We found this package to not only include more than most other photographers max packages but it was also extremely competitive from a pricing perspective. Now my wife and I had already been engaged for 2+ years at this point so we werent wild about the idea of an engagement session - but Jared pitched us an idea that we had never heard before. He proposed that we do our first look a week before so that it could be intimate, not interfere with timing on the big day, and oh yea, on top of a MOUNTAIN!

Jared had done an extreme amount of research prior to our first look casing every mile of the Rocky Mountain Tundra to find the perfect spot for the big moment. He was not only able to capture this amazing moment but also make two people who had never taken professional photos before feel like professional models. The creative instruction, light-hearted attitude, and genuine care throughout our entire first look experience was something like we never anticipated wed be able to achieve. The only thing that was more exhausting than the constant smiles throughout this shoot were our stomachs from the belly rolling laughter that ensued from the jokes, enthusiasm, and joy that Jared brought with his craft.

If our experience with Jared had ended here, it would have already been well worth the investment.

When the big day arrived, Jared and his assistant somehow made it seem like they had a whole army with them as they were able to capture everything from the crack of dawn till the last person loaded the bus at the end of the night. Jared provided expert instruction throughout all of the photo opps during our big day. Between working with demanding family members, a distracted bridal party, tricky outdoor/indoor lighting, and oh yea - a stressed out bride and groom, his expertise was the perfect guiding light throughout the entire experience.

Not only were we (bride and groom) beyond impressed with Jared and his team but almost EVERY SINGLE guest and family member in attendance made sure to personally tell us how impressive and enjoyable Jared was to have in attendance. We got continuous messages in the week following the wedding telling us how anxious everyone was to see our photos and lucky for them - the turn around time was legendary. While we have several friends who told us horror stories of having to wait MONTHS to see some of their photos from their weddings, Jared had a sample ready within days and the final product ready ahead of the agreed upon time and delivered them to us in a format that allowed us to share them all instantly. It was truly amazing and allowed for everyone at the wedding to download a high quality photo of themselves to enjoy and brag about. This was extremely important because almost every person in attendance actually had a photo taken by Jared! He got 100s of photos of the bride & groom, every special shot we had mentioned liking in the weeks leading up to the wedding, AND somehow also managed to capture the true landscape of our big day and everyone in attendance.
