Hi there! I’m Melissa! I’m the Owner & Lead Photographer at Mia Photography. I’ve been in business officially 10 years & brand new to ‘fash'! ...though I can’t really ever remember a time when I wasn’t snapping photos for family & friends. It’s been a lifelong love. I’m a local CO photog with professional equipment & a Mama to boot... & I’m reasonable! I’m used to wrangling in littles, teens, & even shy adults~ in order to get you the best photos! 😎 I specialize in natural light portraiture but can also shoot with flash if necessary ~ & while I promise you’ll get that ‘posed over the mantle’ family shot.... my favorites are, editorial type shots. These allow me to capture you & your family as natural, relaxed & playful as possible. The result is not only gorgeous photos, but also memories to cherish always. Shoot me a message! Then either thru email, text, or phone - we go over the logistics - & then we are ready to roll with your personalized shoot!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I took 2 years of film classes in school, & I am self taught for digital. Self taught, meaning I paid for online classes for years, & even now, always learning in order to give my clients the very best!
