I have been in the industry since right out of high school and have been very fortunate! I have been with the same salon company my whole career of 30 years. In 2012 the salon opened their 2nd location where I now manage. I love all aspects of doing hair! And am constantly going to classes (at least 6 or 7 a year) to learn the latest trends & techniques. My most recent certification was “Master Core Cutting” with Surface which was a 2 day intensive cutting class this past Feb. and in April followed up with “Cutting it Up” cutting class that was a day full of razor cutting. I cater to both women & men. I do everything from cutting, coloring, highlighting, smoothing systems & perms. I love seeing my guests smiling faces when they are done with their services. Knowing I am helping them feel more beautiful when they are leaving is what makes me love my job even more!! Our salon just recently moved to a new location and our guests are loving our new space! I absolutely love what I do! I am such a people person & I love to watch my guests leave my chair in love with their hair and with a smile from ear to ear! Always looking to be a day maker in someone's day!!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When I see a new guest I Of course start with a thorough consultation! Find out their likes & dislikes of their hair & where they want to be with their hair & come up with a plan. I always recommend what services will be needed to achieve the look they desire & the proper hair care products to take home to achieve the look on their own.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am constantly getting educated on new trends and techniques. Our salon company has at least 6-7 classes where the educators come to our salon and we get the best classes out there that are offered! Our belief is “education makes the difference” and we are always “bettering our best”!
