Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a client I make sure and go over ALL allergies they may have. I make sure to have a clear picture on what they are looking for and at that moment I will let them know if I am able to perform the service.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied with MUD Cosmetics, there I learned proper sanitation, airbrush, makeup theory, day and evening makeup. I am always looking for ways to better my craft, therefore I constantly attend classes to learn new techniques. The most recent classes I've attended were Atrah's one on one class and Akua Robinson group class. Both Artists are located the in DMV area. I am also a cosmetology student expected to graduate December 2019.

How did you get started in this business?
I've always been very into my own personal looks. Since 2013 I wanted to enroll in cosmetology school, but with certain life challenges I weren't able to do so. While living in California I decided to try something new in life, and that's when I enrolled in MUD Cosmetics Class. That's when my love for makeup came about. Now I am living a life doing something I love and I am passionate about all while attending cosmetology school.
What types of customers have you worked with?
So far I've worked with women from all different walks of life. From teenagers to mature women. I can't wait to see who else I meet on this lovely journey.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
A few advices I can give are find a provider that's passionate about what they are doing, not someone that's just doing it for the money. Someone that is highly invested in their craft. Find a person that understands the importance of sanitation and is very honest with you as a client.
