We start with a phone conversation to assess the need. Then work on process to organize the project
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a bachelor of science degree from The Rochester Institute of Technology and a board certification from The BioCommunications Association.
I am a certified UAS drone pilot by the FAA.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Generally, I start projects at $250.00 per hour. I do have some package prices for full wedding and events.
How did you get started in this business?
I've been involved with photography since my first Kodak Instamatic when I was 9 years old. By age 10, my work was featured in a local camera club. I decided that if I were to be a professional photographer, I would need to know everything about photography, so I went to the Rochester Institute of Technology and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomed Photo.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I work with a wide range of customers both industrial/commercial and personal.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I photographed a wedding recently in Sebastian, Florida. The ceremony was on the beach and the party was a great, low key fun time. I enjoy when people are having a good time. The other event I enjoyed was doing commercial architectural photography for a local architecture firm. The photos will be used on their website to transform their site and bring them large amounts of new customers!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
When searching for a photographer, make sure that you get along with them on a personal basis. If you get bad vibes or feel like the photographer is cheating you or nasty, you should stay away. Many of my past clients have become good friends.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Customers who book professional photographers should take their advice and understand the time it takes to perform certain tasks.
