Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Email preferred for first contact. Due to the increasing number of spam and solicitors, we don't answer unknown numbers.
After that we will work with you to determine what you need and provide you with a quote.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Working in the Photography/Video industry since 1986 with a Minor in Art and Photography from USF.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
We start with a basic per hour price, then determine if editing is needed, multiple cameras/operators, etc. and build a custom quote.
How did you get started in this business?
I got started in the business after College after people I know convinced me I was talented enough to do it.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with many nice people, some celebrities, corporations, and charities.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I recently filmed a telethon for Airline Ambassidors for human trafficing awareness. Great experience and an eye opener on a world wide problem.
What advice would you give a customers looking to hire a vendor in your area of expertise?
Be realistic with your budget. If you want a professional remember that they have years of experience to do the job right as well as a lot of money in equipment. There is also a lot of time and equipment involved when editing and it is a lot of times included in the price. We try and break it down separatly so you understand the full value of your quote.
What questions should customers think through before talking to vendors about their needs?
Think about your final needs and what it migh take to acheive it. A lot of times people think they have a simple project and how theywant it to look and they don't realize how much is involved with both time and money in order to acheive that goal.
