About
Hi , I’m a Cosmetologist licensed in The state of Florida and New York with 30 years experience in cutting , coloring, long hairstyles, Up styles, men’s cuts, and styling and makeup.
I’m also a wedding officiant. I became ordained in 2020 during the pandemic, as I had several friends getting married that year.
I have had a passion for the beauty industry since I was about 4 years old. I just love helping others feel good about themselves, and the act of helping and being apart of the Wedding is even more rewarding.

How did you get started in this business?
I have always wanted to be a hairdresser since I was a little girl. At four years old I would answer the phone "Deanna's beauty Parlor ". It is my passion I am now 43 years old and I have been in this industry since the age of 16 years old. I took cosmetology in high school. Once I started 11th grade, I was a shampoo assistant in an upscale salon in Port Jefferson New York. I also worked as an assistant for just single hairdressers there as well. I learned a lot from these hairdressers. I was an assistant for four years before I went on the "floor" to cut hair. At Long Island Salons, it's frowned upon ( And you most likely will not get hired without shampoo assisting experience )To have a hairdresser start working on "the floor" immediately after graduating cosmetology school. The motto is "You must be an Excellent assistant before You can be an amazing hairdresser.
