About
I love being able to work with clients and create images that they will love and cherish. I enjoy working with light to create interesting images and something truly artistic. It is important for me to listen to my client and meet their needs and deliver a product that they will be proud to show.
I love creating art. The more I can be artistic the more amazing the images come out. It is all about looking at things differently and making images from that unique viewpoint.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When I meet a new client, my first goal is to determine their needs and getting to know them. When starting a project it is important for the person to show their personality through the images. Even in things like real estate and food you can find the mood and style that the client wants to create for their project.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Much of my knowledge comes from my education at the Art Institute where I studied photography. However, I have also worked with many renowned photographers who have also taught me method for lighting and compostion. I have also attended many workshops and training seminars through the professional organizations that I am a member of currently.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
My pricing is based upon the needs of the client for their project. When the client contacts me and we discuss what is needed I can create a tailored pricing package that can meet their budget.
How did you get started in this business?
I began my persuit of a profession in photography in the early 2000s. That is when I began to work to gain my experience and knowledge. I was fortunate enough to partner with a talent agency that gave me the ability to work with aspiring actors and models in the area. This helped me gain experience learning the industry as well as allowing me to gain experinece shooting in different scenarios.
What types of customers have you worked with?
My experience as a photographer has ranged from photographing many consumer based work like: Weddings, newborns, pregnancy, family portraits, sweet sixteen, and senior sessions. However, I also enjoy doing commercial work for businesses like: product photography, food photography, corporate headshots, corporate events, swimwear, and clothing, and editorial photography.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
I heard a great saying recently, "The only thing more expensive than hiring an expert is hiring an amateur." This really resonates with me because I have seen both sides of the situation. When I was getting married, I hired a low cost photographer for my wedding. Even though he had experience with a camera, he did not have a lot of experience with weddings. As a result, my pictures were not the kind of images that I could frame and hang on my wall. It is something that bothered for quite a while. Spending a little extra to make sure that you are getting a person that is knowledgeable will show greaty in your final images.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Some good questions to ask before you hire a pro:
1. What is my budget for my project?
2. Think to yourself, if I were to be asked to do my job, for the rate I am offering a professional, would I take the job?
3. Be prepared to ask for expamples of a pros work in the specific type of photography you are looking to hire.
4. Is the professional insured and licensed?
