✨ Meet Nikki — NIKKI’S BEAUTY BAR
With 40 years behind the chair, Nikki has been passionate about hair since her early teens, when she was the friend everyone called on to do their hair in the kitchen! Her career began in Brandon, Manitoba, Canada, and since 1986 she has worn just about every hat in the industry—Master Stylist, Salon Manager, Color Educator, Commissioned and Booth-Rent Stylist, and owner of two successful salons in Key West and Merritt Island.
Today, color is Nikki’s JAM! ❤️ From dimensional blondes and balayage to bold cinnamon reds, Teasy Lights, Block Coloring and even fun rainbow shades, she loves creating color that makes people stop and say, “WOW!”
Her philosophy is simple:
“I will give you the hair you desire, but my first goal is to keep the integrity of your hair.”
Nikki works with all hair types—from fine to thick and straight to curly—and loves helping clients discover a look that makes them feel refreshed, confident and uplifted.
She proudly works exclusively with ALFAPARF Milano color and MONAT hair care, choosing brands that align with her values around quality and cruelty-free/vegan hair care.
Her chair can be chatty, fun and full of laughs—or a quiet place to simply relax. She listens first, then brings her expertise to the chair. Her ideal client is someone who knows what they want but trusts Nikki to guide them toward what will work best for their hair.
When she isn’t behind the chair, Nikki enjoys life with her husband, Rob, and their two crazy pups, Piper & Hayden. They’re avid concert-goers, cruise lovers and BIG Sunday-football people. ?❤️

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
With a new client I definitely like to book extra time so we can have a full thorough consultation. I also encourage clients to bring in pictures of past hairstyles that they pad, or colors that they would like to do. I pay very close attention to detail and I strive to do the best for my clients.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was an Color Educator for ALFAPARF Milano for 7 years. Over the years I have taken many many color classes, cutting classes and business and management classes.
