Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It's very important to listen to what the customer is wanting.
Getting together and discussing the shoot is so important.
We all have different visions and have slight differences in the way we see and hear. Communication is so important to match the shoot.
It's great to be able to offer aerial and traditional "ground" video and photography.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm a private Pilot that loves photography. Knowing the air space and how to fly has been a big advantage. I was one of the first 300 pilots in the country to legally fly a drone with FAA certification.
I work in Adobe Creative Cloud and use Lightroom, Photoshop, Premier Pro and After Effects for post production editing. It's taken several years working in these programs as they are very detailed. These are major advantages and it shows in the work.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Typically my services are $100 per hour or priced per project on a turnkey. Video editing, photo editing and shooting are all inclusive.
How did you get started in this business?
The drones got me hooked and the photography came along with it. I started flying little helicopters before the drones came in and seeing the evolution has been astounding.
Now I'm hooked on getting that amazing image.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Multiple real estate companies, aerial inspection companies (cell towers, roofs), surveying companies for drone surveying, weddings, events and special projects.
I also specialize in yachting photography.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Last January I noticed that the Loxahatchee Battlefield Preservationists were having a re-enactment for the 1838 Second Seminole Indian war in my home Town. It was a last minute blessing as the Palm Beach Parks provided the OK to fly the re-enactment.
This turned into a 20 minute video production. The history of this event is remarkable and everyone was so pleased with the outcome.
