About
My journey began as an amateur photographer just wanting to take better pictures for my growing church. As I supplied more photographs of events and staff for slideshows and marketing material, people began to ask if I would also make family portraits as well. From there my photography business began. As I learned more, I found out how much I didnât know and returned to school to complete my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Digital Photography. Attaining my degree was actually the beginning of life long learning and growth to continue to bring technical excellence to my work.
I have always been a people person and love to capture genuine expressions whether formally posed or candid, editorial images. The most important thing to me is the experience my clients have when working with me to produce their pictorial story. Most are not comfortable in front of the camera, so it is important to me to put everyone at ease while participating in a session.
So Welcome! I look forward to working with you! Whether we do a formal studio portrait in the âShe-Shedâ or work at your favorite location, letâs âCapture More Than Just Memories!â

I most enjoy working with people. My goal is to capture genuine expression whether it be an individual or a group. Creating beautiful images for people to look at for generations to come is such a joy to me.
My favorite thing is to listen and tell your story. Images trigger the fondest memories of important events. My goal is always to capture the obvious moments, but also to capture the often unseen and candid moments of an event. While formal images are always included, it's the unplanned, unexpected and spontaneous moments that trigger fond memories of an event. Those are the moments I most love delivering to you!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I love connecting with my clients. Getting to the the things that are important to them help me understand exactly what they want in their portraits. I have a questionaire to help me get the basic information and then correspond however the client chooses. I prefer to talk on the phone at the very least, but hope to meet in person prior to the session, if possible. Weddings and larger events I require an in person consultation. All of my sessions are completely customized and love the input and collaboration from the people I work with. My style is easy going and positive and love to make everyone feel comfortable. It is then when I get the most genuine and candid expressions and smiles.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
At first I took a workshop and learned online as much as I could. I then had the opportunity to return to school and fulfill the lifelong goal of attaining my Bachelor's degree. I graduated from The Art Institute of Tampa with a Bachelor of Fine Art in Digital Photography. While I have the technical skill, I've found the experience I've gained came from the field while on actual jobs. Whether it is a newborn, Maternity, family, wedding, event, product, headshot shoot, I've done a lot and am grateful for the experience. I even photograph extreme sports (professional wrestling) and have been published in PWI (Professional Wrestling Illustrated), FSM (Fighting Spirit Magazine) and on WWE's Cruiserweight Classic Series (website promotion).
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Pricing is based on the type of session and in some cases on the amount of time on site. There are information sheets I can send out based on whether it's a Family or other type of portrait session, Professional Portraits, marketing images for web or print, private or corporate event, photo booth, wedding. I do not twist arms to do business with me and do not employ high pressure sales. So please request pricing, I'm happy to answer questions with out any pressure. While I want to do business with everyone, I realize I'm not everyone's photographer.
How did you get started in this business?
I started as a photographer about 10 years ago just wanting to take better pictures for my church. As more of my images were being used for bulletins and other media, families and individuals began to ask for my services.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with families, children, small and large businesses, couples, individuals, wedding parties, newborns, new mommies, non profit organizations, entertainers, actors, event planners and organizations, medical professionals, athletes, corporations and more. One of the things I love the most is the variety of people, assignments and genres in my field.
I have also done aerial, product and landscape as well as fine art pieces.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
One of my favorite events was a benefit wrestling show. It benefited PAL (Police Athletic League.) Professional wrestling is a lot of fun and with lighting conditions, keeps you on your toes with the fast movement.
Another true honor of a session was capturing the wedding of a young woman who I have known since she was a baby. She acquired her gown from a well known celebrity shop out of state and was just a joy and beauty to work with.
I could go on and on about special assignments, because all sessions are special in their own right. I believe that the clients who find me are who I am meant to work with. We have fun and I love putting everyone at ease in front of my lens.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Look for the professional that listens to you and cares about what is important to you. Quality is always a concern, so look at the work. Don't be afraid to ask if a professional has done a project like yours and if you may see their work.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Do they have the right equipment to handle the job? Are they insured? Do they have a delivery system for the final product? What is the quality of the work?
