About
I've been a professional photographer for many years. I started off doing street photography in New York City, where I was born and raised. Now I live in Murphy, NC.
Since moving to Murphy, NC I've photographed many different people, doing on location portraits throughout the Murphy and surrounding areas. This area is so beautiful, there is never a shortage of places to photograph.
As my clients will tell you, when you book a photo shoot with me you are sure to have a good time. I can't tell you how many men were shy in the beginning of the shoot, only to be suggesting poses themselves during the session. The same goes for children. It only takes a short time to get them to warm up to the camera. This is thanks to my wonderful husband Matt, who makes the kids not only comfortable, he makes them laugh with his humor, bubbles, and stuffed animals (that he brings to life for them). When you see people laughing and having a good time in my photos, chances are Matt is standing behind me. I've even had some clients book additional shoots and insist that Matt be there.
When the photo shoot is done, I spend many hours in post processing. I edit all my photos to make sure you get the most stunning images to cherish. I don't just hand over photos from my camera. If you have lint on your top, I take it off. If you ask me to remove blemishes. I do that too.
I never charge you extra for your final photos, and you have complete rights to them to do what you want with them.
I'd love to help you capture your own special memories. Whether it be for a prom, graduation, new baby, maternity orengagement (and everything in between), I will make sure you have photographs you will absolutely love.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I meet my clients on a location of their choice. I can also help them choose a place with beautiful backgrounds and landscapes. When we get started I try to make them as comfortable as possible. I bring toys or bubbles for the kids. If you want them to smile, these always do the trick. By the end of the session, the men are comfortable, the women are happy, and the kids don't want to stop!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a self trained photographer. I took many online classes learning the technical side of photographer as well as photoshop. I practiced my craft for months before going pro. I've been a professional photographer for over 5 years now.
