I always ask my new clients for a picture of their hair before they come in for a consultation.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm constantly being trained on new ways of getting better results. I study my passion and always consulting with other professionals on anything new. I attend classes when time permits.

How did you get started in this business?
My mother was a hairstylist and owned her own salon from the time I was 2 years old. She became a cosmetologist instructor when I was 13. My grandfather was the first licensed African American barber in Ms. I have been hands on since I was 9years old.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with senior citizens, teenagers and young adults.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
I advise anyone to find a stylist that's consistent, talks about healthy hair, someone that values time and someone that will go above and beyond.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
I stress to new clients to be realistic about what shape their hair is in. They need to ask what kind of treatment would they need, if there is a special product they need, ask if they could use that or if there is an alternative
