Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First I typically like to speak with the client and get as much details as possible. For most cases, an in-salon consultation is required for best results. The 20-30 minute consultation is free. After the consultation, the client and I discuss the best date for the services agreed upon. The client usually books an appointment before leaving the salon that day and if a deposit is required (extension services) we take care of it before the client leaves that day as well. The client comes in on the day of the appointment, the services are rendered. Final payments are made. A take-home regime is given to the client to assist in a successful hair journey and more than likely follow-up appointments are scheduled at this time.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Graduated from Paul Mitchell in 2013. Lead stylist at DreamDry for 2 years. Certified in keratin treatments, L’oreal, and Oribe products.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
No, everything is a-la-carte.
How did you get started in this business?
I’ve been doing hair since high school. I focused on the talent more in college and then became licensed after graduating.
What types of customers have you worked with?
All ages, ethnicities, and cultures in the surrounding Atlanta/Buckhead area.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I recently worked backstage at America’s Mart bridal fashion show (Downtown, Atlanta) creating hair and makeup looks for models.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Consultation is a good way to see if the professional is a fit. Not only for your desired hair needs, but for your personality as well. The consultation is an important piece of any professional service and is not only for the professional, but for the client as well.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
What do I want? What is my desired end result? Is this a realistic option for me? What is my normal hair styling routine? What do I like about my hair? What do I not like about my hair? Am I willing to go through a transitional process if necessary or do I want immediate results?
