Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Women’s Haircut (Curly)
Your haircut experience will begin with a thorough consultation about your hair condition (product usage), hair styling (goals, likes, dislikes), and lifestyle. I am happy to answer any questions you might have. Then concede to a customized hairstyle and look created just for you. A complimentary beverage will be offered. My haircutting techniques for curly hair truly just depends on the type of curl, length, and thickness. Some curly hair is best to be cut Dry. Some curly/wavy hair is best to be cut wet. And some curly hair is best to be cut Both ways. It really just depends. I am very experienced in working with curly hair and have been for many years. I too have curly/wavy hair, so I do understand the everyday trials curly hair can encounter. I would be so happy to teach you and share with you everything that I know and have learned over the years about how to care for curly hair. Tip & tricks. Styling techniques. Most importantly Hydration. I promise, you will learn something.

How did you get started in this business?
At age 15, I learned how much I loved doing hair and Makeup while experimenting on my friends in my home bathroom. Often, I have traveled to California where my Teacher, Mentor, and Uncle, Hal Valentine allowed me to observe him working in his beautiful salons located in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, Manhattan Beach, and Carmel. It was then, that I knew I would be working in the Hair & Makeup Industry.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Diverse. What is so special and unique about people is how different everyone is, personality, jobs, interests, talents, hair, and skin. The people, is what I enjoy meeting and working with the most.
