More than a passion for hair, I personally have a passion for people and making them feel good and taken care of. Hairstyling is self care that is essential to the culmination of a woman's complete look. My mission is to provide excellent customer service, hair sculpture and design, to be a resource to the family, community and the world. I specialize in short hair sculpture, styling and hair color. I have been in the business for 20 years and short hair has always been my specialty. I specialize in catering to an executive and professional clientele. I am licensed through the state of Illinois and a graduate of Pivot Point International. Among my many accomplishments was the "People Skills Award." I have been certified in many techniques, from color application to custom hair cutting. During this time of pandemic, I have been Barbicide certified for general sanitization and disinfection as well as COVID-19. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A typical process first begins with an introduction to the services that I provide and making them feel comfortable. Next, my suggestions and finding what styles they like best and finally execution of the desire that we agreed would be best. A custom look for their lifestyle.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a graduate of Pivot Point International, my specialty is short hair styling and sculpture. Every other year I am required to take CEU hours as a prerequisite for the renewal of my license through the Illinois State Board. This is where I take specialty courses as refreshers and learn enhancement techniques for my business.

How did you get started in this business?
I got started in this business when I came home from college. I had to chose between going back to college or becoming a Cosmetoloist. I chose the latter.
