Brett Kramer is a Commercial Photographer who can often be seen working on the windy streets of Chicago, the misty coast of Northern Spain, small towns throughout the Midwest or in any other inaccessible place where there are mesmerizing photographs to be made. Brett continues to excel at creating an uncompromising and individualistic body of work for a variety of Advertising, Graphic Design, Recording Industry, Book Publishing & Magazine Clients.
A large component of what I do is to make my clients look great. It's a big responsibility to deliver images that the client is going to be thrilled with each and every time and it's something I take great pride in. It's taken a lifetime to put together the latest greatest gear combined with my experience in working with customers to bring it all together. We look forward to working with you.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Bachelors degree in Cinema and Photography from Southern Illinois University, plus real world experience in the Commercial Photography industry since 1991.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
No, there is really no pricing system. We must evaluate the complexity of each and every assignment and factor in things like travel time, time on location, amount of equipment involved, post production time, etc. We strive to arrive at rates that are fair for all.
How did you get started in this business?
I graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Cinema and Photography from Southern Illinois University and almost immediately came to Chicago to assist the Nations Top Commercial Photographers. Once I had assisted for a few years, I started on my own. It was slow at first, but things finally picked up.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Advertising Agencies, Magazines, Designers, Corporate direct assignments, Private individuals / families. I enjoy it all and love the variety.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I photograph events for Consulting Magazine every year. Their, "Rising Stars of the Profession" is particularly fun. I also enjoy photographing Corporate Events like Deloitte Consulting's, "Women in Technology" event every year. I've also photographed a number of "Product Launch" events for fragrance companies and private events for families, it's all good!
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Please try to provide as many details as possible with regards to your photography project. Details that help would include, the hours you're going to need a photographer for, specifics about your shoot, for example is it a Corporate Headshot or a Candid, Journalistic outdoor shot? If you'd like to have an event photographed, how many guests will be attending?
