When I was 5 years old my father gave me my first camera, a canon AE-1, and I have carried a camera with me ever since. I spent every free moment I had in high school in the darkroom & decided to study art in college. I received my BFA with an emphasis in photography at Columbia College in Chicago.

I'm PK, a photographer based in Chicago with six years of professional experience. I take the time to make people comfortable in front of the camera, direct posing that looks natural instead of stiff, and communicate clearly from the first message through final delivery. Every gallery gets edited with the same care, whether it's a wedding, a headshot session, or a brand shoot. I'm not trying to be the fastest or the cheapest option out there. I'm trying to do work I'm proud of, and that means showing up prepared, on time, and giving your shoot my full attention.
