Furnished Memories is a family owned business with over 50 years of photography experience. We are passionate about capturing a preserving these precious and once in a lifetime memories. Because of this passion we offer a variety of options to capture and preserve your memories through photographs. One such way is we have just purchased 2 new state of the art Thermal Dye Sublimation printers and software allowing us to make instant prints up to 8x10 for any corporate, charity or special event.
We also offer traditional photography sessions for family and senior portraits, posted in a private gallery for you to share with family and friends, purchase prints and other items including digital downloads.
Capturing a moment in time that can be viewed over and over again for years is what drives us to want to capture great moments and preserve them.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Working with a new customer is very rewarding because we get to investigate what their individual needs are by conducting a pre-event consultation with them so they can tell me what it is they are looking for and then we can create and execute a photography session or event that they will be completely happy with.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been in training for over 25 years learning from each of the following experiences.
As a camera and equipment sales person behind the camera counter where I learned how to use all different types of photographic equipment and even printing color phots in a 1 hour photo lab.
As a business to business sales associate selling to many professional photographers in the Chicagoland area including both the Chicago Tribune and Suntimes. I would learn from each of my customers new lighting techniques, posing and many other processes to make images look great!
I became the product and sales trainer for Wolf Camera where I developed and taught photography classes and then digital photography.
Was a Digital Imaging Trainer for Sony Electronics and when that position was eliminated I started my own photography business.
