Stela, has been in the industry for 16 years. She started her career in Chicago and she moved here in Northwest Indiana in 2015. She’s licensed both in Illinois and Indiana States. She specializes in haircuts in all ages, coloring, she can also do men fades. She enjoys doing Highlights and Balayages. She offers waxing and makeup services, bridal hair and makeup, prom and most occasions.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I perform thorough consultation. I want to know what my clients really want and what I should avoid.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been in the business for 16 years and my experience and the classes I've taken through all the years, are my education. I have clients who are still with me since I started back in 2004.
How did you get started in this business?
I woke up one day in 2003 and I said I want to do what I love and never looked back since then

I have worked with all different clients.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I always love doing highlights but I my work doesn't feel like work that's why I do everything.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Don't be afraid to check everything out. It's better safe for sure. Ask as many questions as you'd like. They will help both the client and the beautifcian.
