About
Hi, I'm Christy, owner of Happy Chick Photography, a portrait studio in Overland Park serving the Kansas City metro since 2004. I specialize in maternity, newborn, smash cake, family and high school senior portraits, plus professional headshots, in my studio or on location. After 20+ years, I know how to work with wiggly toddlers, shy kids and reluctant dads. Sessions are relaxed and quick, and I'll help you plan outfits and details ahead of time so the day feels easy. Your gallery is ready in about a week. I'm a proud member of Professional Photographers of America and have been voted a Kansas City Favorite. Every November I also run Santa mini sessions with a classic, real-bearded Santa.
