About
My philosophy on makeup: express yourself! Makeup is an art form and it is my absolute passion. For me, passion comes with a constant desire to learn, so I am always up to date on the latest trends and advancements in the makeup industry.
With over 15 years of experience in commercial, bridal and theater makeup, I can help you achieve any look you desire.
I specialize in enhancing a persons existing beauty, not hiding it beneath a thick layer of makeup. I want you to look your best on camera, but also be able to leave the shoot and go out into the world feeling gorgeous and confident.
For a personal shoot, I make sure you LOVE your look before we complete the session, and you will NEVER have "ghost face"! If you are unfamiliar with ghost face (not from Wu Tang), it's the BRIGHT white face you sometimes see sticking out in pictures. Your face skin should match your body (unless of course that's the look you are going for and if so, do you.)
Some of my commercial clients include: Korbel, Cummins, Old Forester, Distill Hotel, Onyx and Rose and Katy Hearn Fit.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The customer should reach out to me via email or dm and then we will begin the discussion of dates and desires. I try to get as much detail as possible to make sure the client gets exactly what they are looking for. When working with commercial clients, a call sheet is preferable, but not necessary. Again, just as many details as possible. For bridal, we would set up trial times in addition to the wedding day. I am available for communication basically any time and I encourage as much communication as possible. My main goal is always to make sure the clients vision is accomplished.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been doing makeup for over 15 years. I am mostly self taught but I have learned from the best that way. Kevin Aucoin was my first obsession and I studied his books for years. I have attended multiple work shops through out my career and am constantly studying, going to master classes and practicing to keep my skills and knowledge ahead of the curve.

Also, part of my job is to help the client identify the look they want and work out certain things during our preliminary discussion.
