What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new client, I prefer to meet in person or over the phone to discuss the project, goals and budget so I can understand the assignment and share what I can offer within the working parameters.

B.A. in Studio Art from Smith College
Extensive on-the-job experience as well as training with world-renowned professional photographers in many fields through continuing education programs through Maine Media Workshops over nearly twenty years.

Before quoting a job, I prefer to have a discussion with the client about the goals of the job as well as the client's budget to figure out how we can work together to produce the best results within the parameters we must work within.
How did you get started in this business?
My personal fine art project photographing the homes of friends and acquaintances, Personal Space, led me to begin working with interior designers and architects, as well as editorial clients. Through a wide variety of assignments over the years, my work has grown to encompass portrait, lifestyle and still-life product work as well.
What types of customers have you worked with?
From magazines to architects, interior designers, realtors, corporate health care marketing teams, as well as individual business head shot, portrait and wedding clients. I work with businesses, individuals and magazines.
What advice would you give a customers looking to hire a vendor in your area of expertise?
I find it helpful when a client can share with me other images that have caught their own eye, which can help us discuss the work we can do together to meet their photography needs and desires.

What style of images do you like and need? What is your timeframe? What is your budget?
