About

I have extensive experience working on a wide variety of photography, printing and publishing projects for the past 35 years. I have a large, fully-equipped digital photography and print studio located a few miles north of Boston and on the T. Free parking, secure, air-conditioned space.

Prints up to 44" wide by any length on photo paper, fine art paper or stretched canvas; mounting, lamination, framing, matting. Giclee fine art captures and prints.

Executive and family portraits, headshots, fashion, products, architecture, retouching, restoration, photography of jewelry, sculpture, paintings. Photos for books and websites, art school applications.

My work involves a variety of different subjects and skill sets. I enjoy the various challenges this involves, and find it satisfying to deliver work of the finest quality to my clients. Their positive responses to what I do makes it an enjoyable profession. I also like helping my clients by coming up with solutions they may not have considered previously.

Started out as fine art. black and white landscape, street and portrait photographer. College and photo school courses. Assisting. Freelancing. Studio established 25 years ago.

Artists working in every medium: museums, universitie, companies, individuals, families, executives, children, gifts shops, clients wanting retouching and book publishing, framing, printing, websites.

I enjoyed seeing Improv Boston this past weekend with my two daughters and wife. Also enjoy seeing my daughter perform in numerous theatre and dance productions, which I sometimes  photograph.

I don't photograph weddings and other events since I'm mainly a studio and location photographer of objects, people and art.

Experience counts and so does having the proper equipment and space to complete an assignment.

Also important is the personality of the professional. Are they easy to work with? Friendly?

Do they have good references? Do they stand behind the quality of everything they do? Are prices clear and is there a clear description of the job description in the quote?

Customers should have an end goal in mind for their project. Since there are many ways to do projects, it is best to call first and discuss your project with your vendors. They will ask numerous questions and should be able to give you specific pricing based on what is discussed and agreed upon.
