for event photography, it's a standard hourly rate but it varies based of type of event and other factors

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
I’d say take your time and really consider your needs and then consider if you want it done correctly, do your research You are paying for a high quality professional photographer not everyone one who gives themselves that "professional photographer” title is one. You are paying for the quality, skill, creativity, time, and to have you needs met. It important to remember those thing
your not paying for the just the title.
