About

I am a 20-year photography enthusiast who has grown his craft organically. I specialize in travel/culture and automobile photography - two subjects about which I'm very passionate. I tend not to edit my photographs, preferring a more natural approach to the craft.

I have been in love with cars from early childhood, especially fast cars, thanks to my uncle and his Mustang. But I love to showcase the art and craftsmanship of all automobiles. The shape, the color, the power.

When traveling, I tend to focus on architecture, art and culture/life. I like to find beauty and humor as I explore a new city or country. My hope is that my pictures will inspire others to travel, explore and find their own beauty along the way.

I am also passionate about food but tend to savor it with my mouth moreso than my lens.

    Frequently asked questions

I would meet with the customer, in-person or virtually based on their preference, to understand the high-level needs. I would then schedule an onsite/in-person visit to better understand the subject, the setting and any other details. Based on the requirements, I would either start working immediately after the onsite visit or schedule the photoshoot.

I have taken several photography classes, but I have no formal training (degree, certification, etc). My formal education is in computer science and my photography skills are mostly self-taught.

My standard price is $50/hr, including time spent editing photos, but not including consultation and preparation.

Customers should always have a clear vision for the end product, even if it's a very high-level/broad vision. I've heard of clients letting the photographer use their imagination. Sometimes it works, but often it leads to dissatisfaction and frustration for both parties. Take time to review the photographer's portfolio - to understand the artist's style and make sure that style is in tune with their vision.
