Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It's super painless. We talk about your needs, put together a plan, you give a deposit (if necessary), and then we make beautiful images!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a degree in Photographic Technologies.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Real Estate: $0.10 per square foot, minimum $149 per property.
Architectural w/lighting: $249/hour
Headshots: $149 for 20 minutes and 1 perfect image.
Everything else is generally billed at $249/hour. Group and high volume discounts are also available based on the scope of each project.
How did you get started in this business?
By chance! Originally I worked for Chrysler building engines which was, without exaggerating, mentally and physically destroying me. At one point someone close to me left the country to finish their PhD. When she left she gave me a broken camera and said "if you fix it you can have it". So that's what I did! I fixed the camera, bought a lens and started taking photos with it. I became obsessed! It was so much fun getting people together and creating images that put smiles on other's faces.
After about 6 months I just couldn't get out of bed to go work a job I hated anymore. My love for photography had grown so vast that I quit my job, moved to Ann Arbor, and began going to school full time for Photography :)
What types of customers have you worked with?
Since 2015 I've been working with a variety of clients: Builders, remodelers, architects, interior designers, agents, corporations, etc
Specific customers include: Dominos, BRAGG, Howard Hanna, Real Estate One, Anthropologie, Forward Design Build, Tyler Weston, and more!
What advice would you give a customers looking to hire a vendor in your area of expertise?
Photos are sooooooo important! You really do get what you pay for and going with the cheapest just doesn't make sense. This is a representation of you and your brand.
