Talking and getting to know the client, asking questions and making them feel comfortable.

Associates degree in photography and 35 years of working with other professionals and graphic designers in a very creative and fun field.

I have a $1000.00 day rate or $125.00 per hour. I am very flexible and can make any budget work.
How did you get started in this business?
My friend was in a photography class and I helped him with a shoot. It was so much fun and then we went to the darkroom and seeing the images come up in the developer was even more exciting...I was hooked. The next year I changed my major.
What types of customers have you worked with?
CEO's, models, factory workers, farmers, just about everyone you could think of....
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I was the university photographer for Western Michigan University for 20 years, portraits with President John Dunn and photographing at the Haworth College of Business have been the highlights of my career.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
If you are going to hire someone with 30 plus years of experience, tell them what you want and let the photographer do his job. They see things right when they walk in the room, and know what looks good.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Just explain yourself and let the photographer create.
