JG Studios has over 25 years as a commercial photography and video. James is a lighting expert with stobe, natural, or leds transforming any creative idea into magical set. We have a large studio with a full cove, natural light bay, and a kitchen. From fashion to food we love to create.
I love being able to help my clients build a creative concept into an amazing image that sells themselves or their brand. I've been a commercial photographer for 25 years and have shot for BMW, Coke, Pepsico, Heinz,Target and 3M just to name a few. I have shot from New York to San Francisco in studio and on location. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically an new client will call and/or email to talk about a project and from there I'll send them an estimate. If they are happy we set up a prepro to detail out the shoot.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Degree in Commercial and portait photography and I am an expert in lighting and high end photoshop work.

Commercial photo rates: 1day $2000 1/2day $1000 1/4day $500
Portrait/headshots rates: 1 look $150 2-3 looks $350 4-5 looks $550
Video Rates: Traning/How to/Interview $750
Food or recipes videos $1000 to $1500
How did you get started in this business?
I had been doing photography most of my life and finaly I went to college and made it a career.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with BMW, Coke, Pepsico, Heinz, Target, and 3M for commercial and product.
I have shots portraits/headshots from Pepsico's CEO and highend fashion models to kids senior pictures.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
We had a 65yr old woman come in for some new headshots and she walked away with a corprate and fashion look she never thought possible. She left feeling more confident and beautiful than she had in a long time. Its one of my favorite shots.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Do your research and talk with the photographer you want to hire.
