Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get to know my clients and learn a little about who they are, what needs they have as far as photo/video goes, and what it is they would like me to do for them. I'm a very people-oriented individual so I try and make my clients as comfortable as possible whether I'm recording an interview of them or just shooting portraits.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am currently a media production major at Bethel University and have extensive knowledge on how to use adobe products like lightroom and premiere. I have been a videographer for 3 years and enjoy professional photography as well.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I generally charge a half day rate or full day rate. These rates include editing time as well; half day being 4 hours or less and full day being 4-8 hours. Any hours beyond that is to be charged extra.
How did you get started in this business?
I started making YouTube videos and realized that I had a passion for video and photo work. I've started sharing my gift with others, taking on professional paid gigs and doing client work with others.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I've done video promotionals for a real estate company, small businesses, adoption programs, and individuals with any and all video/photo needs!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I'm currently producing and editing a film and I love the process so much.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Determine your budget and how long you expect a gig to take. Be sure to include 1-2 extra hours for editing and post-production work.
