Helloooo beautiful people! My name is Brent. I am the Chef/Owner of Morrison's Kitchen Collaborative. A young catering company in just our second year in business. Since October of 2024, we have catered to a wide variety of locations, menus, genres, cultures and now, our first holiday. We have been contracted to do Thanksgiving 2025, for 25 people. I personally, am very excited for this opportunity to cook for my favorite holiday. MKC started with just myself and my dear friend Jenna McMiller. Jenna is an F.O.H. specialist. We now have six team members that are available to work events when available.
My favorite aspect about the culinary arts is collaboration. Coming together as a team to form an idea or concept for a meal or event, and seeing it succeed is more rewarding than anything.
I would consider myself a product driven Chef. Choosing and working with the best, most fresh products is the basis for success in any kitchen. I've been a Chef for 19 years and still consider myself a student, even though I've also been an instructor. I am very accustomed to teaching while cooking. There is no better way to learn. I am fluent in cuisines from all over the world. Spontaneity, variety, and diversity are my strongest qualities with abit of gift for grab.
