About

Every relationship is different, so we strive to catch all your authentic and candid wedding/elopement moments. You should be able to reminisce on your special day in a way that is meaningful to you.

Each package includes an heirloom album and tree planted in an area that has been devastated by a natural disaster. You will be able to enjoy your memories even more knowing this day started more than your family. You have rebuilt a forest that you will be able to watch grow, just as your love does.

    Frequently asked questions

We have to get in touch first. My website has a very easy to fill out inquiry form that goes straight to my inbox.

Once received, I'll make sure I have your date open. If I do, then we'll schedule a chat. I want you to enjoy working with me and to make sure I'm meeting all of your needs. It's hard to read a person through an email.

We have a quick chat. I send out a contract and invoice, a few administrative things occur and you're on my calendar. I'll then send quick e-mails once a month. They will be just little check ins. I want to give you piece of mind knowing I haven't forgot about you and they'll have fun questions to answer about your relationship, so I can create a photography experience catered specifically to you.

The day of, I say hi and then get to work. You're photos will be mostly candids and the portraits will have emotional reactions created through a series of verbal cues. No fear of looking posed.

You'll receive sneak peeks in 48 hours and a full gallery in 6-8 weeks. Aproximately a month after you receive your album and a certificate with viewing instructions to see the forest you helped plant.

I have always had an interest in photography. I started shooting nature, as I grew up on 40 acres and that forest was truly my happy place.

My family never really did professional photos, so I bought a camera to capture my own family photos. I can't say my family has always been in a position to hire someone to do it.

I feel even further in love with photography and wanted to give it even more meaning. Juniper and Oak captures all the beautiful moments of a relationships. The ones that normally would be captured on a cell phone. We strive to catch those moments you love to share on facebook, but with a quality that allows you to make them art.

We also love photographing outside and love nature. So we help couples continue to create a beautiful world for their future generations to live in. Allowing them to have the beautiful wedding, but in a way that has a positive impact on the environment.

Meet with your vendors. The best images come from when you are comfortable with the person behind the camera. I work very hard to get to know my clients and to let them get to know me.

I know having a stranger ask to take your photo is weird and you won't feel quite right, but taking photos with your friends is a fun experience.

If someone is giving you a vibe you don't dig, you won't have the beautiful images you are capable of creating.

Ask what its like to work with them. What do they say to achieve a certain image?

What is your experience with difficult environments? (rain, low lighting)

What is the most difficult part of photographing a wedding?

    Why do you enjoy it?

Every question you have is valid. Whatever comes to mind, ask it. There is only one chance to get this day's photos right.
