The Salon and Spa Santuary is a full service salon located in Swansea, IL. We cater to men, women and children of all ethnicities. Offering professional haircare services in a safe and healthy environment.
I enjoy working with my current clients to bring their wants and desires of a new fresh look to life, or keeping their go to styles on point for them until they desire a change. I also enjoy meeting and working with new clients to fulfill their desires although I know they have other options however, allowing me to be of service to them is something I don't take likely and I work hard to bring their desires to life as well.

I studied Cosmetology at Alvarietas's College of Cosmetology in Belleville, IL from January 2008- September 2009 while serving in the Illinois Army National Guard as a Human Resource Specialist who recently separated from the military after serving 12 yrs 5 months and 10 days in 2018...

We do have standard pricing however, pricing is subject to change depending on the clients needs and wants...
How did you get started in this business?
I got started in the business with a passion after graduating from high school. Although I started school after graduating I didn't complete and get licensed until many years later once joining the military in 2006. After joining the military and serving 2 years I enrolled at Alvarietas's College of Cosmetology in Belleville, IL January 2008. Once graduated and licensed, I opened my first in home Salon while living at Scott Air Force Base from 2008-2010, from there I worked as a Stylist at Styles by Design until I was scheduled for deployment in February 2012. I kept my license active although I never deployed and have continued to service clients on a as needed basis until I joined The Salon & Spa Sanctuary as a Stylist in September of 2019 which is now located at 4535 North Illinois Street in Swansea, IL. I'm so happy I followed a childhood goal and stuck with it even after graduating from high school. It's been very rewarding...

Describe a recent event you are fond of.
While working as a Military school Recruiter I had the opportunity to offer free haircuts to students at a back to school event hosted by local businesses in the Mt. Vernon, IL area. It was awesome to be of service to so many families that evening...
