We got married on May 4, 2024. We asked Pastor Rod to marry us knowing that it was a special day already - KY Derby Day- Star Wars Day. It was a big ask - he would have to travel for our wedding - and he accepted without hesitation. Pastor Rod took the time to talk with us and took a genuine interest in our ceremony and what things we wanted included and not included. The day of our wedding, Pastor Rod embraced our theme of KY Derby, and dressed the part in a baby blue suit and pink tie. If you know Pastor Rod, he has a great sense of humor, and that was not lost during our ceremony. He spoke the word of the Lord, and was sincere in his message of how God is present in every relationship. He had the guests and the wedding party laughing along the way. They LOVED him. During our reception, guests asked how we knew him and where we had found him. If you are looking for a pastor who is genuine and knows how to add a little fun to a wedding, I can't speak enough about Pastor Rod's ability to make your wedding ceremony one people won't soon forget!
