It all started back in 2003 when Justin, aka "Slick", started helping Steve, aka "Slick", cook and cater barbecue. In the small North Carolina town, Slick and Slick catered all types of events, from golf courses and parties to weddings, just to name a few.
Justin went on to work for companies such as Disney, Marriott, Chick-Fil-A and Aramark. Here he worked in different aspects of food service from cooking to managing whole operations. He is now a certified chef through the American Culinary Federation with the designation of "Certified Chef de Cuisine."
With his passion and love for food and barbecue, Justin launched Slick's Bar-B-Q food truck and catering.
I enjoy the ability to take good food and turn it into great experiences. In the world of hospitality, I take it with great honor and pride to be entrusted with providing and ensuring each guest is served the highest quality food with unmatched customer service. There is nothing more enjoyable for me after a long hard day preparing for an event than watching it all come together with our guests, enjoying all the hard work that was put into it.
