Captured By Amy Photography is owned and solely operated by Amy Woolard. My home studio is based in Washington, NC with my focus on capturing and documenting those timeless moments in life. I specialize in portrait photography of newborns, children, families, high school seniors, events and weddings.

I have always wanted to be a photographer. I grew up in a small community and remember my first camera and how I tortured my little sister posing her and taking photographs. My love grew into wanting to help others tell their stories and capturing those memories for a lifetime. Being present for those first moments of life is an honor to me.

I am a member of the Professional Photographers of America (PPA) as well as the Professional Photographers of North Carolina (PPNC). I recently received my Associate Fellowship in Photography. I am always looking to improve my learning by attending seminars & conventions taught by internationally known photographers to keep my studio on the cutting edge of creative photography.

Amy offers 10 years of experience in photography . Sessions can be in studio or on-location. Amy's artistic eye, friendly personality, experience, professional training and expertise with cameras and lighting are the very reasons to trust her to be your photographer for those special moments in time.
