What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We find it most important to first connect with our clients through a free consultation. This helps you get a feel for who you'll be working with while helping us determine the best way(s) to serve you. Once we connect, we can tailor your session to your needs - which varies our process a little each time. We'll then arrange all the necessary details and elements of your session, taking the To-Do list off your hands and into ours. Next, we'll have your session and then all you have to do is wait to see your portraits at your Ordering Session! Depending on the type of session you choose, turn around times will vary. Once your portraits are ready, we'll connect with you to arrange your Ordering Session*. At this session, you get to choose the portraits you love and that best serve you. We've structured our pricing on an image to image basis and offer a variety of products so that you can choose as many or as few photographs to best suit your lifestyle.
*Out of respect for the safety and health of our clients and staff, 95% of Ordering Sessions have been adapted to an online format.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
13 years experience as a professional photographer.
BA in Photography and Digital Media
Studied under McDowell Photography in the beginning of my career.

Brand Photography
Brand photography is tailored to each businesses needs. A free consultation is required for the most accurate quote.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We work with everyone from solopreneurs who wear all the hats and need photography that strengthens their client relationships to college students who need headshots for their resumes and internship applications and even larger corporations like Wells Fargo making sure their staff headshots are consistent with their branding and highlight each of their team members.
We even travel out of state to complete your project. So far in 2021 we have been to Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virgina, Georgia and South Carolina for our clients.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
1. Make sure you know find a professional you have good chemistry with. If you can collaborate together with ease, then your results will turn out better!
2. Know what you want to get out of a project - or, be willing to talk it out with your photographer. Your investing your time, energy and money into this work. Having clear goals helps you get the most out of your work!
We work with our clients before their session to truly hash out every need they have. This way, each photograph has an intention and use behind it.
3. Make sure to look at portfolios. Knowing that you would be satisfied with any of the work your photographer turns out is important!
We have a deep extent of knowledge when it comes to lighting locations for atmosphere, technical aspects and final aesthetic. Depending on the project and your goals, we have the ability to photograph with studio equipment, ambient light or natural light. We work together with you to choose what suits your brand, messaging and aesthetic the best and will result in the most attractive photographs.
