Persimmon & Sunshine Studio
About
As an experienced photographer and photo stylist, I can use my talents to help build your brand through creative, engaging and beautiful imagery. I excel at projects that require creative direction and planning as well as the execution of the idea. Imagine you have a great product, but need some assistance in creating artwork that will help it sell. That is exactly what my strengths are, and I’d love to put them to work for your company!
As a portrait and wedding photographer for the past 15 years, I am comfortable with the camera as well as with working with people, talent and directing models. My artistic style is all about natural light, natural poses, candid expressions and creating imagery that allows your customer to envision themselves using your product. I am also a creative prop and set stylist and will work with you on creating the best environment for your product to shine.
My commercial photography emphasis is new, but my design experience and photography skills are veteran, I’m just moving my focus from portrait/wedding to commercial.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I love to learn all about the company and the client and work together on creating the plan for the artwork. I take my time to get to know the needs of the company and adjust my approach accordingly for a successful partnership.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor in Studio Art with an emphasis in Oil Painting (I know, right?). 15 years professional photography experience mostly in weddings and portraits. I’m currently a professional photo stylist for a major catalog company.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
The creative fee depends on the complexity of the artwork. The final job quote includes creative fee and image licensing as well as expenses.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Start with a conversation about their artistic style. Most photographers can shoot all sorts of styles adequately but keep looking until you find the right fit for your brand.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
What are your goals for this artwork? Is it showing how the product looks, or how the product makes you feel? Is it showing that this product is for everyone, or specifying a target audience. The way the image is styled and photographed has such a lasting effect on your brand.
